Museums Libraries and Archives Council (MLA) supports MGM through Renaissance, MLA's groundbreaking programme to transform regional museums. www.mla.gov.uk

Renaissance

A network of 'Hubs' has been set up in each English region and each Hub is actively involved in MGM2006. www.mla.gov.uk

Arts Council England

Arts Council England is the national development agency for the arts in England, distributing public money from Government and the National Lottery. Arts Council England encourages collaborations as part of MGM between artists, art galleries and museums in creating understanding and appreciation of contemporary art. www.artscouncil.org.uk

Wales

CyMAL – Museums, Libraries and Archives Wales was established in 2004 as a policy division of the Welsh Assembly Government and represents a significant investment in the sector. www.cymal.wales.gov.uk

Scotland

National Art Collections Fund – The Art Fund

The Art Fund is UK's leading art charity and a membership organisation. Since 1903 it has made the case for adequate funding for acquisitions, acted as an advocate for museums and galleries, stimulated public debate and influenced policy-makers and secured thousands of works of art for public enjoyment. www.artfund.org
