The MGM/Museums Journal Commended entries from 2006 and 2007 show just what can be achieved on a limited budget.

Awards for All could provide that additional funding to make a new event possible. Although the scheme addresses itself primarily to community groups, smaller venues are welcome to apply. Art projects in museums and galleries could qualify for a Grant for the Arts from £1,000 upwards. Contact your regional arts council for more information. www.artscouncil.org.uk
