The Campaign for Museums is delighted to announce that it has developed a unique partnership with Borders to support Museums and Galleries Month 2006. Museums and Galleries Month, which runs from 29th April - 4th June, promotes museums as places to be inspired, learn something different, meet up with old and new friends, and connect to the wider world. Borders, the books, music and film retailer, will be taking the Museums and Galleries Month message out to the high street and shopping centres, with a high-profile instore promotion.
Borders is supporting Museums and Galleries Month 2006 with promotion of the event throughout its country wide network of stores and with selected stores running exclusive competitions alongside MGM 2006, for the chance to win special money can't buy museum experiences, with bundles of books as runners up prizes. Across the UK Borders stores will work in partnership with museums encouraging customers to get into museums and galleries in May.
